Does Belgium have any current conflicts with any neighboring countries?

The modern day country of Belgium doesn’t have any conflicts with its neighboring countries. Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands are on friendly terms and have good relations with each other. Belgium is also on good terms with France and with Germany.

The modern day people of Belgium pride themselves on being peaceful and friendly. While Belgium is providing some assistance in dealing with ISIS and with helping in Afghanistan, Belgium is a peaceful country.

Even though Belgium was involved in both World War I and World War II, it wasn’t because of any aggressive actions by the Belgium government. In both World War I and World War II, Germany invaded Belgium. In World War I, the Belgium Underground Resistance may have saved France from defeat. Germany wanted to move through Belgium in six days, but it took 18 days instead. This gave France additional time to reposition its army to protect Paris.

Modern day Belgium is free from conflicts with its neighbors.
